i ahve heard about effetech yesterday - for windows programs etherdetect looks quite good.
the only worse thing is that u can only sniff traffic form your own pc. do u know a program to arp spoof on windows?
because thats the only way to sniff traffic from other machines on my network.

Thank you for your interest in your program. You can use other arp cheating utility for your network. But I recommend you enable monitoring features for your switch. Please read our FAQ at http://www.effetech.com/help/sniffer-faq.htm _________________ Harry Liu

| thx for your reply. not all our switches have these features finally i have to use something to arp spoof. the faq doesn`t support my question. sadly i have to use good old openbsd for auditing because i don`t know any program to arp spoof under windows. a lot of people have same problem because actually there is nothing workable available for windows to arp spoof. but of course effetech will code something for windows... |

It seems there are some arp utility on window, but i didn't try them. And some bad arp utility will make LAN abnormal or not work at all. So be careful. _________________ Harry Liu
