|
|
Hello,
I just installed the EtherDetect Packet Sniffer on our LAN and after few configurations and setup i have been able to detect the packets travelling on the LAN.
However, i couldn't notice the packets/data that are being transmitted when using local postoffice ( i.e. Internal email or Microsoft Mail or MAPI ). The external emails can be detected successfully, it's only those that are internal that cannot be picked up at all.
Can you please tell me how to go about to obtain these information ?
Thank you
Kind regards.

You can install the EtherDetect Packet Sniffer on the local postoffic computer, or configure your switch to forward these internal packets to your monitoring computer. _________________ Harry Liu
